Published: 27 Jun 2014

(Palmdale, CA) On Thursday, July 3 at 11 a.m., Palmdale residents will get a new barbecue option when Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens just in time for the Fourth of July. To celebrate, the new location will throw a three-day grand opening celebration. The first 50 guests will receive gift cards worth up to $50.

Friday, the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will offer all day merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, the party continues with radio station Bob FM and 100.9 the Heat onsite from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. This location will be serving $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. Also, one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.

“There is nothing like Dickey’s Barbecue in Antelope Valley and we can’t wait to bring real Texas-style barbecue to the area,” said first time franchise owner, Jamie Bynum. “Our meats are slow smoked on-site with real wood for up to 14 hours which is why our barbecue tastes unbelievable.”

Jamie and Liza Bynum were searching for their next endeavor when they decided to open their own Dickey’s Barbecue franchise. The Bynum’s also own a computer hardware-software business. The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Palmdale is located at 1125 West Rancho Vista Boulevard and the phone number is 661.402.5123. Keep up with this location on Facebook.
