Dickey’s Barbecue is Firing Up Across Arkansas

Published: 10 Jan 2013

(Rogers, AR) Dickey’s Barbecue is building momentum throughout Arkansas. The world’s largest barbecue chain is developing new locations in the state with Lowell and Siloam Springs already open and Rogers, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Searcy and Little Rock set to open soon.

"We are starting to see an uptick in interest in Arkansas and are thrilled with the excitement surrounding our brand,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president and CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We have very energized franchise owners in Arkansas and we know they are going to make the Dickey’s brand grow and prosper in the state.”

Dickey’s Barbecue added almost 100 stores last year and is planning to add at least that many new locations nationwide in 2013. The new location in Rogers, off of Promenade Boulevard, will be owned by Jared Thompson.

“I see a lot of opportunity to expand Dickey’s in this market,” said local franchise owner Jared Thompson. “It will be exciting to see the growth over the next three years.”

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. With every new restaurant, the company creates additional jobs for landlords, brokers, construction companies, and of course the city itself. This is great news for Arkansas.

Dickey’s Barbecue offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce. All meats are slow smoked on-site in each restaurant. For more information, including a full menu, other restaurant locations and franchising opportunities, please visit Dickey's website.
