Dickey's Barbecue Kicks Up the Party for New Monroe Location

(Monroe, LA)  Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Monroe will open its new doors on Thursday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card for up to $50. On Friday, Dickey’s Barbecue will be giving away branded merchandise.  Saturday radio station K-104 will be onsite from noon to 2:00p.m. This location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches. There will also be giveaways for FREE barbecue for a year and a $500 gift card. “Everyone loves slow smoked barbecue and we’re excited to share great barbecue to the community,” said franchise owner Chris Durant. “I look forward to bringing more catering options for businesses and family gatherings.” Chris Durant was a Mortgage Loan Originator prior to owning a Dickey’s Barbecue. He always wanted to open his own restaurant and after researching options found Dickey’s Barbecue was a great fit. Durant plans to open more locations in the future. “Our goal is to introduce the Monroe community to authentic Texas barbecue,” said Durant. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Monroe is located at 1102 Oliver Road in the Twin City Plaza and their store number is 318-605-4024.
