Dickey’s celebrates grand opening Thursday with four weeks of fun, including free barbecue for a year for three lucky guests

 

(San Dimas, CA) San Dimas gets a taste of Texas when Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens Thursday. The grand opening celebrations will include four weeks of giveaways and specials. Three lucky guests will win free barbecue for a year at the new Dothan location. Guests can enter to win using hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media page, by ordering online or signing up for the Big Yellow Cup Club to receive special offers and loyalty points which can be redeemed for free barbecue.

Doors open this Thursday and guests can enjoy the grand opening events over the next four weeks:

Thirsty Thursdays – All guests will receive a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey’s new reusable travel lid and straw.  The first 50 guests will receive a taste of Dickey’s butcher taco of the month, the Sriracha chicken taco.

 

Philanthropy Fridays – “You Give, We Give,” guests who donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, will receive a gift card. Uniformed first responders also receive 50 percent off their meal.

 

Singer/Songwriter Saturdays – Enjoy live music from a local musician.

 

Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday (with dine-in purchase of an adult meal)        

 

A transplant from India, Harish Sharma is excited to open his second Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location along with his wife Neha. Having opened their first store in April 2015 in Chino, the couple look forward to continue to serve great barbecue to the community in San Dimas. “We are so excited to bring Texas-style barbecue to San Dimas, where there is currently no other barbecue option,” Sharma says. “We have a lot of loyal fans in Chino and look forward to meeting our new guests and serving delicious food every day.”
